River Prairie Clues

You have one hour to complete this round. Email your team’s answers to frsakowski@gmail.com

[For complete contest rules click here]

1) Want to buy some pumpkins? I know a guy who can help – but you have to be honest if he’s not there. What is his name? [1 point]

2) Time for a cup of joe. Search for the star. Or have them deliver, using one of two options. Name those options. [2 points]

3) It’s getting colder – may want to put air in your tires. Kwik Trip isn’t the only option here. Can you find the other option – you know, the blue one? If you do, name the brand. [4 points]

4) Look beneath the deadly sin and list the digits you find. [2 points]

5) Leave all engines behind as you make your way. Go past 6%, 9%, and 9%. Are those tracks that I see on the right? Keep going and going until you find two big blue teeth above, and stones not to be walked on below. Be sure to clean up after your dog. Here you will find a black number on a yellow background. What is that number? [8 points]

6) Need to wash your dog while you’re at it? There is a place for that. You can even save 66% if you buy into the monthly plan. How much would that cost you per month? [1 point]

7) Apparently kids don’t float. But you can remedy that with a life jacket loaner. According to the wordy guidelines located nearby, what number should you call in the case of an emergency? [1 point]

8) Who knew that Waffle Nachos are a thing? If you find them, tell us where one would buy them and how much they cost. [4 points]

9) If you tire of managing your wealth, you can rest on a brown bench nearby, thanks to which two sponsors? [6 points] [URGENT UPDATE – It is possible this bench has been altered or removed this week. We suggest chasing down this clue last in case it proves impossible.]

10) Between a blue bird box and a flowing fountain you will find a silo of sorts. How many lights adorn its dome? [1 point]

11) It is rumored there are trolls about! If you find them, you can also charge your phone. Multiply the number of trolls by the number of charging ports and enter that new number as your answer. [1 point]

12) Say a prayer for the young man who is remembered for his passing, at age 23, in 2019. What is his name? [2 points]

13) Walk past the ping pong table, down the dirt path, and across the water. Look left and right to find the nearby homes for finches. Can you count their total number? [2 points]

14) Find the 33 meters in 4 square meters. Then fill in the blank: “Do not _________________.” [4 points]

15) Find the business often endorsed by Aaron Rodgers. Sammie might be able to help you. What slogan is written on the door? [1 point]

If your team is serious about competing for the 1st Place Trophy please note that, in the event of a tie at the end of the contest, the winner will be the team who submitted these Round 1 answers the earliest.

(All teams are eligible for the giveaway drawing regardless of their placing)
